Singapore will fail to isolate patients over under suspicion of being infected with the Zika virus.

The decision comes just days after local media have quoted one of the health ministry members to admit that the virus “has come to stay” in Singapore.

From now on, the admission of patients infected with Zika will only happen in cases where doctors deem necessary measure.
