The signs of the future
Fernando Barbella, designer from Barcelona, tried to imagine the informational signs of the future, regarding the use of technology, for example, and created a series of informative signage may be a few years to become reality.
The designer thus attempted to do what science fiction writers have been doing for several years: to imagine a world not very different from the present but where life is slightly different.
According to the creative, it was not the people who changed, but the signs around them, as everyday life also changes. Fernando Barbella describes himself as a “fan of innovation”, “experimental creative director” and a “regular storyteller”.
The hypothetical signs of the future have been compiled in the series “Signs of the Near Future,” which offer a glimpse of reality that do not yet exist but may come into existence very soon. From drones to virtual reality, holograms to cars driving on their own.
From drones to virtual reality, holograms to cars driving on their own, Farbella shows how the world is evolving and how difficult it can be to keep up with the pace of change.
