The Extraterrestrial Earth
There are many corners of this world that are almost extraterrestrial – or rather, they look like what we identify as something that does not belong to the Earth. Many of them are in the United States, whose diversity of landscapes has led the photographer David Clapp to travel the country in search of these Martian regions.
From Arizona to Utah, through Nevada and New Mexico, Clapp has captured amazing rock formations that exist in the deserts of the American Southwest. The photographer, a Denver native, believes his images can carry people to other planets.
“They reveal an incredible extraterrestrial landscape, a geographical odyssey with unimaginable beauty and diversity. Many do not even know of the existence of such places on our Planet, “he reveals. If it is a “of these”, see our gallery.
