Airports saw from above

Landing at an airport is the first glimpse of many of the long-awaited vacation or business travel destination. After being inspired by airport images during landings, Lauren O’Neill, art director, decided to compile the satellite images of various airports around the world.

For that, Lauren O’Neill turned to Google Maps, where she extracted the images. Subsequently, he created the blog Holding Pattern, in which several world airports can be seen through unique perspectives.

“I’ve been fascinated by airports since I remember being there – there’s something special about landings and take-offs. The organization and operations is very intriguing for me, “writes the art director on her blog, quotes the Daily Mail.
