The device that transports orders had a problem with the landing gear.
A plane from US carrier FedEx caught fire in the Fort Lauderdale airport, according to the Palm Beach Post.
To land on the runway, coming from Memphis, the landing gear collapsed and caught fire.
Firefighters were able to extinguish quickly and there is only property damage to register with many orders destroyed. The pilot, the only ones aboard this cargo plane, were not injured.
The accident happened on Friday, the day that another plane caught fire on the runway at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.
The Boeing 767 American Airlines also had a problem with the landing gear, in this case to take off. Eight people (seven passengers and one crew member) were injured and were transported to the local hospital.
