Three great representatives of the US women’s sports are the new target of a group of Russian hackers, believed to be the same group that committed the information stored on the computers of the National Democratic Party committee.
In collaboration with an international investigation into alleged doping suspicions in elite athletes, hackers dismantled the security barriers and accessed the medical records of the International Agency for Anti-Doping, revealing medical information about three of the greatest athletes of the United States: the tennis players Serena and Venus Williams and still multi-medal Simone Biles, feel athlete of the last Olympic Games.
According to the New York Times, the declassified documents show that Biles and the Williams sisters were entitled to medical exemptions that allowed them the use of illegal drugs to better physical performance.
The anti-doping agency has already confirmed, in a statement, have been the target of a computer attack by assigning responsibility to the Russian group Fancy Bear, a group of cyber spying with experts linked to violations against government agencies, nonprofit organizations and large companies.
