How not to depend on anyone to live well

Designed by the Modscape studio, the cabin is 100% self-sustaining thanks to the solar panels installed at the top, the septic tank and rainwater storage tank – these three infrastructures ensures that the construction’s environmental impact is minimal.

Minimal is also the design of the hut, a feature that aims to highlight the mountainous landscape of the place and not the house, artificially placed there. The cabin was commissioned by a customer who spends much of his time outside of Australia, hence the resource for an infrastructure with little or no maintenance.

With 95 square meters, the cottage has oak flooring, a wooden terrace and rustic fireplace. The work had a total cost of € 125,000.
